Mek (Marantz Electronics) introduce our latest innovation in Automated Optical Inspection (AOI) systems: the PowerSpector JSAz 550. This new selective 3D desktop AOI system is a larger L-size model, capable of accommodating printed circuit boards (PCBs) up to 550x550mm (21.7”x21.7”).
The PowerSpector JSAz 550 AOI features a completely redesigned chassis, which includes upgraded motors, drives, and spindles. While the optics and software remain consistent with MEK’s other desktop models, the new chassis design ensures that the JSAz 550 meets the demands of inspecting larger PCBs with efficiency and precision.
Our latest release retains the ultimate flexibility of our other Mek PowerSpector desktop AOI systems, known for high defect coverage and short programming times. It is equipped with selective 3D laser measurement technology for precise height measurements and offers a versatile inspection engine capable of handling SMT and THT components.
With the enhanced capabilities and new chassis design of the PowerSpector JSAz 550, MEK continues to lead the way in providing advanced, flexible, and reliable inspection solutions for the electronics manufacturing industry.
