We’re delighted to welcome Thuy to MEK Europe, where she has recently joined the team as Financial Officer.
Originally born in Vietnam, Thuy moved to the Netherlands at the age of 15 and has since built a career in finance. She studied Business Economics before beginning her professional journey at Laurus N.V., one of the Netherlands’ leading food retail companies. From there, she spent four years developing her expertise at ERICO Europe B.V., a global manufacturer and supplier of electrical protection products, as an Accounts Payable Specialist, managing Fixed Assets and General Ledgers.
Thuy then joined Cymer/ASML, where she worked for an impressive 15 years as a Financial Analyst, gaining extensive experience in financial analysis within a high-tech, international environment. She now brings this wealth of knowledge and insight to her role at MEK Europe.
Outside of work, Thuy enjoys expressing her creativity through DIY projects and loves spending time with her family. She is married to Marcel and is a proud mum to two boys, aged 16 and 14. In her free time, she enjoys travelling, walking, visiting theme parks, and, perhaps most enthusiastically, exploring food and cooking. At home, the family enjoys a wide variety of cuisines, from Vietnamese and Chinese to Dutch and Italian. Music is another passion of Thuy’s, with pop being a particular favourite.
Thuy is excited to be part of the MEK team and looks forward to contributing her skills while continuing to learn and grow in her new role.
