Last month Mek participated in the SMT Roznov seminar, held by PBT at Hotel Relax in Roznov. The event proved, yet again, to be a great success. It was the 25th of its kind and the largest ever, with 120 visitors from over 50 different companies from around the Czech Republic and Slovak Republic, many with extremely senior positions within their organisations.
The two days comprised of an interesting and comprehensive programme focusing on SMT technology with presentations from all the significant PBT suppliers. Following the presentations visitors moved to the workshop facility at the PBT Roznov offices, where they were able to experience the latest technology highlights up close and personal with smaller groups circulating around a series of 20 minute product demonstrations.
Mek placed the spotlight on the ISO-Spector M1 system. Mek Sales Director, Shoich Rashed, presented the highlights and benefits of full 3D AOI and the advantages of the Mek machine with AI, followed by hands-on demonstrations in the workshop in which the ISO-Spector was one of the few machines present.
In the evening everyone was entertained with live music from a local band from Roznov singing traditional songs while the local food and drink flowed. Visitors were able to try their luck at a Tombola, to win presents brought by the suppliers. Mek contributed 3 goodie bags containing a thermal mug, pens and other small Mek branded gifts.
